A united team for Westminster, Holyrood and the Highland Council

The Highland Liberal Democrats believe that the best way to make our voices heard is to speak together.

That is why our elected members work closely with each other - representing the Highlands at Westminster, Holyrood and on the Highland Council, as well as locally in communities right across our area.

We believe that when the Highlands thrive, Scotland thrives.  Our remote areas are some of our greatest assets, but they are impoverished without the strong communities which populate them and the economy which sustains us.  We value our environment, our culture and our heritage - and we think that Scotland values them too.  So we will fight to protect them, together.

Our team currently consists of

• Danny Alexander (MP for Inverness, Nairn, Badenoch & Strathspey) at Westminster;

• Jamie Stone (MSP for Caithness, Sutherland & Easter Ross) and 
• Elspeth Attwooll MEP representing the Highlands and Islands in Europe;
