Angus MacDonald

Angus and his family have lived and worked in the Highlands for generations, as farmers, distillers, hoteliers, soldiers and entrepreneurs. His father owned the Clachaig Inn in Glencoe, and his grandfather was a farmer and Convenor of the Highland Council.

After running a number of significant businesses for 35 years, Angus wrote a series of well reviewed novels and opened the Highland Bookshop and Highland Cinema in Fort William. He brings his wealth of experience to the council chamber as the newest councillor for Fort William and Ardnamurchan.
