Here for the Highlands

We can make things better for the Highlands, but we need a Highlander who understands the people and the real issues to represent us. Someone with real grit to fight for us. I’m not a career politician, I’m a business guy who has built significant companies from the Highlands, a local with a reputation for getting things done.

What makes me cross

The central belt has had tens of billions spent on three new motorways, another Forth Road bridge, Edinburgh Trams and more. The Highlands has had next to nothing. The A9 needs dualling; the A82 and A96 need major upgrades; new Calmac Ferries are required; our care homes need replacing with modernised buildings; there should be a tunnel or bridge where the Corran Ferry is; a replacement for the Fort William Belford Hospital; major investment in our schools; and the list goes on. It’s the Highland’s turn for major Investment.

After 16 years in power, the SNP have failed the Highlands. It's time for change.
