Standing up for the Far North

Growing up in the Highlands shaped who I am - this is my home. Like many of you, my family and roots are here. It is why I care so deeply about our unique communities.

Over the years, I campaigned alongside my mentor and friend Charles Kennedy. I have worked with humanitarian charities, standing up for causes that matter. If elected as your next MSP, I will use that experience to fight for the Highlands. Putting you first.

Folk across our area feel forgotten by an out of touch SNP government that doesn’t understand Highland communities. We urgently need change. That is what this Election is about.

The Highlands are unique. Our needs are different. That’s why I will always fight to ensure your voices are clearly heard in Edinburgh.

That is needed now more than ever. Years of the SNP’s centralisation and one-size-fits-all policies in relation to policing, fire and rescue, health and education have not worked for us in the Highlands.

This is personal. Like you, I want those closest to me - young and old - to access the healthcare services they need, to live in warm affordable homes, to put their kids to the best schools, and travel safely on our roads. I’m also determined we tackle the cost of living too.

I hope you will support me in giving the Highlands the strongest possible voice in the Scottish Parliament, so I can fight for your priorities.
