Scotland is banning the use of the only spray that can control bracken, Asulox, whereas England will continue to allow it. Bracken harbours ticks which carry Lyme’s disease.

Scottish Liberal Democrat education spokesperson Willie Rennie has today challenged the Scottish Government to secure more accommodation for the year ahead as he revealed new figures showing that in each of the last two years, more than 10,000 students were unable to secure university accommodation.
